"Kia please don't do this..." Hecate pleaded into the phone. "Hun, I love you,I don't want to see you hurt." Hecate heard the clink of metallic on ceramic.
"Okay...I won't" Kia sighed,with a little too much relief. Hecate sobbed silently on her end of the phone. She knew Kia had done it again, she had dragged that oh so familiar, blade against her wrist. Her words said 'no' but her sigh screamed 'yes'.
